Social and Educational Extended Day (SEED)
& Lunch Programs

SEED Daycare Services

Evergreen Elementary offers the school community the benefits of a school-run SEED (Social Educational Extended Day) program for children registered in Kindergarten through Grade 6. This service is also available on a part-time basis.

Our primary concern is the safety and well-being of each child while promoting a comfortable environment combined with a positive approach to further the development of the whole child. To that end, the program is an extension of the school. Activities include homework, outdoor play, gym, arts & crafts and outings on PED days.

If you have any questions regarding costs, registration, etc., please contact our Social and Educational Extended Day & Lunch Programs Technician, Lucy Filiatrault, at 514-798-4447.

Lunch Program

All children are welcome to participate in the Lunch Program. There is a lunch supervision fee for all children who stay for lunch. The lunch fees for children in the SEED daycare program are included in their SEED daycare fees. All lunch supervision fees are approved by Governing Board.

Income tax receipts for both lunch and SEED daycare will be issued at the end of February. Appropriate behaviour is expected of all children in the Lunch Program. All children are expected to respect the school's Code of Conduct during the lunch period. Please refer to the Lunch and SEED daycare documents on this page for complete details.
